From The Fields was born from a simple need—skincare that truly nourishes, feels good, and is made with ingredients you recognise, straight from nature.
The journey to From The Fields started with a personal health struggle. Em (our founder) was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism mid 2020, and spent 3 years in a cycle of exhaustion - sleeping up to 16 hours a day.
Something had to change, and it led to her rethinking about everything she was putting into and onto her body.
She embraced a nose-to-tail approach to eating and eliminated chemical-laden cleaning and skincare products from her life, and she then discovered the incredible benefits of tallow-based skincare.
Competitve in all over areas of her life, Em wanted to make the best of the best when it came to tallow-based skincare.
With a commitment to supporting ethical small farms and sourcing high quality ingredients, From The Fields is the result of extensive research into traditional skincare methods.
Our grass-fed and finished tallow is from a local farm in Victoria and is paired with the best oils, herbs, and flowers across the country.
The process to make our skincare is intentionally slow—each herb is infused over four weeks in a glasshouse to preserve maximum nutrients, and our whipped tallow is rendered three times minimum to ensure purity before being blended with one of the best Australian jojoba & avocado oils available.
Every batch is made with care, in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges, using designated stainless steel utensils in a dedicated ventilated room, with all jars fully sanitised and sealed.

Its been a journey, but last 5 years has allowed Em to reclaim her energy and spend time doing the things she loves — coaching football, running an ice bath community at the beach, and being present in life again.
